I know it's not in your hands specifically, but do you know if there is any effort being made into a lego soccer mania decompilation? I feel like I'm one of 3 people that actually played this.
The best way to grab the original textures would be from the decompilation: https://github.com/isledecomp/racers/ - the files in this version are more structured for runtime
I love you. Build mode UI is weird. I can't put it into words, but picking bricks to place is bothersome. Either way, I love you, I was waiting eagerly for a proper remake like this.
Thanks! I'll keep working on the build system. Would you mind trying to describe more what makes it weird feeling for you? Are you using a mouse or joystick / touch?
Maybe it's just muscle memory, but the original system felt a bit more intuitive to navigate, especially with the keyboard controls. Yes, it could be clunky to find a specific part at times, but it was a lot quicker to cycle through all the parts for a given theme. The color filtering in this remake is neat, but also adds some additional "friction" to finding what you want. If there was a way to still cycle through every part with the arrow keys, that could be a nice feature. Just my 2 cents!
Can there be some UI scalling? The multiplayer chat in lobby in particular is really hard for me to read on a 1080p monitor. Other than that the remake is REALLY good and i love it!
Just updated the build! If you're still getting "an update is available" in the bottom right corner just take a new copy from here, it should be resolved.

You can unbind pause from ESC for player 1 and then are unable to rebind it.

Great port, but multiplayer isn't working properly on the browser version, nobody can control their own characters, the CPU takes over.
Some bugfixes coming today!
My friends and I played several matches without issues, thanks for the updates. Very impressive work.
